Master Award-Winning

Photography

you can do at home!

If you can’t put on a show in your living room, you’ll never be ready for Broadway!” That’s the motto we live by here at The Photographic Society.  Here we teach you how to turn a £3 backdrop and £30 light panel into artworks worthy of Gallery Exhibitions! How to turn your living room into a studio worthy of high end Magazines and how to decode the world of Art, fashion and cameras, without breaking the bank or ever stepping into a studio that costs an arm and a leg! And we have lovely coffee to sip while we do it all! Isn’t it time you dusted off that nice camera and learned how to give your pets the photoshoots they deserve!

Hello! We’re the Photographic Society Glasgow Established in 2020 we are an independently owned and run, members only community of like minded people who share a love of all things photography. It’s a hub of new connections and collaborations all centred around weekly tutorials and a Monthly Workshop taught in Glasgows City Centre by industry level photographers (Whose work spans from exhibitions in Paris to magazines such as Photo Vogue, Kerrang, Wonderland and Mob and can be found on every modelling agency website in Scotland and a few in London).

Our focus is on coming together, creating and learning in a safe, cosy and inclusive environment.

Everyone is welcome!

Your learning environment.

Gone are the days of the cold, dark, leaky community halls and hard plastic seats!

Here at The Photographic Society our research* shows environment plays a fundamental part in our learning and as such we always provide; Warm, clean, comfortable, naturally lit, accessible classrooms, where the focus is on our community- with unlimited Tea and Coffee to keep those creative thoughts sparking!

If you can’t shoot for Vogue in your living room, no fancy studio or expensive camera is going to make you any better! I just wanted to create something accessible for people, so we could get back to doing what we love without any of the nonsense, I taught lots of students separately and the one thing they all missed, was each other. Purpose and community, that’s what we strive for. I love photography, only place the world ever made sense for me really.
